Russian, Really?
Can you really teach yourself a new language?.....well, I'm teaching myself Russian, yes Russian (quite ambitious, aren't I?).........why? you ask. Because Russians are cool!
Picked up the tapes and books at the library, they were selling used books to help the homeless......so, French and Spanish were gone and I chose Russian...even though, German, Greek, Polish, and Bulgarian would help tremendously with my current job, I went against the grain and chose Russian (I can learn those four languages later, at the company's expense, right?)....but so far the alphabet is pretty okay, it's memorizing, but just putting the letters together to create syllables, which in turn create words is very difficult indeed.
SNs: Hope your thanksgiving was great.....it was really nice for me...had tofurkey (not so great, we also cooked chicken, so it saved the day)....and my first case of Polaroids didn't come out so great, I guess practice makes perfect.
