Unknown vs. Comfortability

The unknown usually brings out the best in people and comfortability brings upon complacency. Let's view in more detail of my train of thought; given that this is "According to me"....our decisions could be fear driven or passion driven.

Fear driven decisions results in complacent situations, for example, forced occupations, emotional stability, fear of failure, and etc. Having to work towards a dream that is not yours, only for the secured income, is one predicament that most of us can relate too. Many people also refuse to move away from their primary homes, because of the emotional stability that their family may give them. Fear of failure causes people to shy away from certain situations, because they are afraid of experiencing new emotions or interactions.

Passion driven decisions involves taking risks and investing more for a better outcome. Not fearing the unknown, but facing it with faith. The ones who benefit from fear usually consider these types of decisions as selfish. Uncomfortable situations cause us to adapt in a way that is still true to ourselves, but it allows us to learn more from others.

Passion driven decisions taps us into the gift that is given to you by a higher power is what I consider a purpose. This sounds very religious, but I do find individuals hiding behind their religion to make excuses for their complacency, which I am not a fan. Looking at "MY" point of view, what drives your decisions?

.....sorry for the erratic flow....

I have had to make life or death decisions at a moments notice.
And I have pondered for hours unable to decide what I wanted to eat for dinner.
